The Sport-12U set is designed to replace the standard AK-12 forend and carbines based on it (TR3).
The Sport-12U set has six Basis guides, allowing the installation of additional equipment compatible with the Basis directly on the fore-end (stops, swivels, buttons, wire clamps, pads, handles, additional Picatinny rails). To install equipment compatible with Picatinny rail, it is possible to install additional Picatinny rails (purchased separately) B-2, B-2L, B-2M, B-2U anywhere on the Basis rail.
To install the lamp in the lower front part, we recommend the B-2 Leader bracket (purchased separately).
In the front part of the "Sport-12U" kit there is a lowered part for the installation of combined "Finger" devices: both separate devices and a unit that is integrated into the kit.

To install the Sport-12U kit on a weapon, you must:
1. Disconnect the standard fore-end with a pad on the gas outlet pipe. Remove the standard DTK.
2. Install the lower bracket "Sport-12U" instead of the standard fore-end. For this:
2.1. Place the rear end of the forend in the receiver;
2.2. Place the protrusion on the barrel into the groove on the inside of the forend. In this case, move the standard swivel to the side so that it does not interfere;
2.3. Put a spacer on the upper end of the fore-end, hammer the fore-end with a hammer through the spacer into the receiver. In this case, the protrusion on the barrel, like on rails, must be positioned in a groove in the inner part of the forend. It is unacceptable to cut the fore-end;
2.4. Unscrew the axle included in the kit. Drive it into the axle hole. Tighten from the back.
3. Install the upper bracket "Sport-12", tighten 6 screws at the joints of the upper and lower brackets;
4. Close the receiver cover lock lever. Install a standard DTK.
The rigidity of the forend and the brackets included in the kit determines the rigidity of the sighting devices, which affects the accuracy of the shot.
