The corset is the base of the AVS system. First of all, it provides the transfer of the weight of the body armor and ammunition from the back of the user to the legs using the StKSS system, consisting of a belt and StKSS stops, fixed length or telescopic.
The corset is a rigid and at the same time flexible ergonomic frame that gives comfort, stability to the entire system by combining front and rear covers for armor plates. Thanks to the pillows placed on the corset, ventilation, comfort and reduction of backward effect are carried out.
On the outer part of the corset there are MOLLE slings for placing pouches and a special velcro valve, which can be used to connect the front cover and corset without using external cumberbands to reduce the weight and dimensions of the system. In the standard options, the side parts of the cumberbase are placed in special grooves of the front cover for the plates.
