When working with night vision goggles, it is designed to aim weapons at the target and work as an IR illuminator at night.
The principle of operation is based on the property of the optical system and laser infrared emitter to form a light spot of small sizes at the facility. Firing is possible from any position, it is enough to direct the light spot visible in the night vision device to the target and fire a shot.
With the help of alignment mechanisms it is aimed like a regular sight.
Target pointer mounted on hunting weapons with a side bar (TsLN-1K), with an upper dovetail (TsLN-1KV), with a bar "Picatinny" (TsLN-1KVP). Modifications TsLN-1KV (-1KVP) have a remote power button.
Landing diameter 1 inch (25.4 mm).
The power of the light flux is regulated by an iris diaphragm.
The designator can be operated at an ambient temperature of plus 40 C to minus 35 C and relative humidity not more than 95% at a temperature of 25 C.
