The sight has a magnification of 1x and its aiming system is similar to collimator sights. The difference from the collimators is that PO1x20 has a fixed position of the exit pupil - 100 mm - and when the eye is removed / closer from this value, image scaling will be observed, therefore it is recommended to aim with one eye. With the position of the eye at the exit pupil (i.e., 100 mm from the eyepiece), aiming is possible with two eyes.
There is a grid backlight provided by the tritium light cell. The color of the glow is green.
"PO1x20" sights are recommended for quick guidance on fast-moving targets.
Provide outdoor performance at temperatures from - 40 to + 40 ° C.

The sights have several modifications for installation on various types of weapons:
