Designed for observation and orientation on the ground in the dark under natural light from the moon and stars and in complete darkness with the infrared illuminator on. The binoculars consist of two identical systems, each of which is a telescope. The electrical circuit of the device provides protection for image intensifiers from short-term illumination by intense light sources.
