Bracket B-20U - Zenitco

Bracket "Forend B-20U" is an all-milled product made of alloy D16T, coated in black or desert color. 
Installed in place of the standard RPK forend or carbines based on it. Compatible with the bracket above the B-19RPK gas outlet pipe.
Forms a Picatinny rail in the lower part of the forearm, which allows attaching additional equipment to the weapon: underbarrel lights, LCC, handles, additional brackets, etc.
On the sides there is a Base rail for installing brackets and accessories compatible with the Base rail. These are additional Picatinny rails: B-2U (75 mm), B-2 (45 mm), B-2L (35 mm), B-2M (15 mm); swivels: A-1L, A-2L; stops RL-1; handles RK-0L, RK-1L, RK-2L, RK-4L, RK-6L; brackets B-9L; linings on the Basis NPN-2.

The product is produced in two modifications depending on the seat.
The seats may differ for different carbines, so check the appearance of your stock forend with the photo before buying. Two types are available: Type A with a wider seat and Type B with a lower seat. Type A corresponds to the version B-20U V.2.0, Type B - B-20U V.2.1.

To install on a weapon you need:
1. Partially disassemble the weapon and remove the stock forend
2. Install the bracket "Forend B-20U" instead of the standard forend, assemble the weapon
3. The bracket "Forend B-20U" must be installed in its regular place in the groove of the receiver of the weapon very rigidly, for this it is necessary: ​​

• put the standard swivel washer on the B-20U
• combine the free the end of the B-20U with a groove in the receiver
• putting a wooden or metal spacer on the swivel washer, hammer the B-20U into the receiver of the weapon with a hammer
• assemble the weapon

4. To install the B-20U in the receiver of a weapon, you should not cut it with a file, as this can lead to the formation of a backlash at the junction of the forend with the receiver

The rigidity of the forend determines the rigidity of the sights, which affects on the accuracy of the shot.
