We present to your attention the army suit of the American sample ACU (Army Combat Uniform). In recent years, the costume has won widespread recognition among professional military personnel around the world as a convenient, functional and versatile combat uniform. The ACU suit version of our production is in no way inferior to foreign counterparts, made by original American standards from high-quality modern materials. The suit is convenient not only for military operations, but also for a wide range of vigorous activity in field and city conditions.
Fabric composition: Ripstop 50/50 cotton / polyester.
The costume consists of a jacket and trousers. The jacket is not too long; in the buttoned position, its lower cut is slightly lower than the lower back. The stand-up collar fastens with a Velcro closure. One of the edges of the collar can be folded down and fixed, for its part, with additional Velcro, leaving the collar itself open. The jacket fastens at the front, from the lower cut to the collar, with a durable YKK polyamide zipper. The zipper is covered with a strap fixed by three velcro locks: from above, in the middle and from below. On the front, in the chest of the jacket, on the right and on the left, there is a small (160x130 mm) flat patch pocket. The vertical entrances to these pockets, slightly slanted vertically (for easy access), are located on the side of the central zipper, and are reliably closed by small valves on Velcro closures, across the entire width of the entrance. Slightly higher than each of the breast pockets, one sewn-in strap with Velcro mate is horizontally located for attaching identification chevrons and signs. Another small similar platform for attaching chevrons is located in the central chest of the jacket on the outside of the strap covering the zipper. On the sleeves of the jacket, in their upper part, there is a patch pocket (160x120 mm) with one side cut-in wedge, for a small increase in volume. These pockets are very convenient in cases where access to the breastplates is difficult when additional equipment is worn on top. Sleeve pockets are closed by valves with double Velcro closures. For greater convenience, these valves have an additional strap that can be grabbed by a gloved hand, or if the hand is frozen or injured. If they are not necessary, the straps can be removed under the valves, fastening them to the inner Velcro. The entire outer area of the sleeve pockets, including the surface of their flaps, is sheathed with Velcro mate, forming convenient platforms for attaching stripes, chevrons and decals. In the upper dorsal part, from its right and left edges, the jacket has two hidden vertical mortise wedges. These wedges give the user greater convenience in complex and abrupt movements, without restricting or stretching the fabric, and also contribute to better ventilation of the back in hot weather. The jacket sleeves, in the region of the elbow joints, have a flat pocket-patch made of an additional layer of fabric, closed with a Velcro closure. If necessary, a piece of “foam” can be inserted into this pocket, forming an internal soft elbow piece. The sleeve cuffs are reinforced with a double layer of fabric, are adjustable and fastened with Velcro closures. The pants of the ACU suit have a loose fit. The waist part of the trousers is reinforced with a double layer of fabric, has an internal adjustable tightening with a built-in cord. Outside the waist part there are seven belt slats with a dial arrangement for 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9 and 11 hours. The size of the swivels allows the use of trouser belts up to 50 mm wide. The wide section of the trousers and its four plastic buttons are covered by a valve from a double layer of fabric. In front of the trousers, immediately below the belt, deep classic mortise pockets are located on both sides. Below, on both sides, there are large (240x200 mm) patch lateral hip pockets, closed by slightly sloping (down and forward from the horizontal) flaps on two Velcro closures. These pockets have three vertical mortise wedges, if necessary, slightly increasing their volume. In addition, the hip pockets, in their upper cut, can be pulled in by an integrated rubberized cord with a plastic clip. There is also a small patch pocket (170x100 mm) on the outer sides of both legs. Pockets are closed with small flaps on a double velcro closure. Two flush pockets (140x170 mm), closed by valves on two buttons, are located in the buttock of the trousers. The sciatic part is reinforced with a double layer of tissue. The lower sections of the trousers are also reinforced with a double layer of fabric and pulled by ribbons. In the area where the knee joint is located, both trousers have a velcro-fastened flat pocket with an additional layer of fabric. If necessary, a “foam” is inserted into these pockets to create an internal soft knee pad. All straight seams of the product are made using the double-hem seam technology. The patch pockets and pocket valves are sewn in the same seam. All corners of the seams are reinforced with zigzag tack.
