The "Leader S" kit is designed for rifles based on the AK platform with a barrel length of at least 415 mm (not compatible with shorter barrels).
The kit features Basis rails on four sides, allowing the direct installation of compatible accessories (hand stops, sling mounts, switches, wire holders, rail covers, grips, and additional Picatinny rails) onto the handguard. For mounting equipment compatible with Picatinny, additional Picatinny rails (sold separately) — B-2, B-2L, B-2M, B-2U — can be installed anywhere along the Basis rails.
The front part of the “Leader S” kit includes a lowered platform designed specifically for the installation of the "Perst-4" combined device — both as a standalone module and as an integrated Perst block. If used without "Perst", an ergonomic insert (sold separately) can be installed in its place.
There is also a modification of the “Leader” kit featuring a lightweight lower Basis rail.
